What is Workspace?
Workspace is AwakeVerse's collaborative task mode. Rather than a conversation with a single AI or a multi-character dialogue, Workspace brings multiple AI models to the same task — each contributing from its own perspective — to produce structured, multi-perspective output.
The core idea
In a standard AI interaction, you send a message and receive a single response from a single model. Workspace changes this. You define a task, and a team of AI models works through it together — one may analyse, another may challenge, another may synthesise or generate output. You direct the process and shape the result.
The outcome is not a single AI response. It's a body of work produced by multiple models with distinct roles, reviewing and building on each other's contributions.
What Workspace is for
Workspace is suited to tasks that benefit from structured multi-model contribution:
- Professionals who need multiple AI perspectives on a decision or document
- Educators creating learning materials for exams, teaching, and students
- Students writing reports, whitepapers, dissertations, essays etc.
- Entrepreneurs stress-testing ideas for implementation
- Researchers stress-testing an argument or hypothesis from multiple angles
- Creators who want a collaborative development process without a single dominant voice
- Anyone working on a problem that benefits from structured disagreement or multi-model review
Workspace templates
Workspace is organised around templates. Each template defines a team of AI models with specific roles suited to a particular kind of task. AwakeVerse provides six built-in templates:
Coding Team Multiple AI models collaborating on code in real time — reviewing, generating, and challenging each other's contributions across a shared codebase. Each model brings a distinct approach to the problem.
Education Suite A team oriented around educational content creation. Sub-types include lesson plan development, classroom debate scenario design, IELTS study planning, and full course curriculum development.
Research & Citation Designed for academic and research tasks. Supports thesis development, whitepaper drafting, literature review, and citation handling — with structured output in document format.
Creator Studio A content-focused team for producing scripts, blog posts, social copy, and explainer material. Suited to creators who want multi-model input on voice, structure, and clarity.
Business Builder Built for business planning and pitch development. Handles business plans, pitch decks, financial models, and strategic briefs — with output bundles that can include PDF, presentation, and spreadsheet formats.
Professional Training Scenario A roleplay-led template for training scenarios in professional contexts — legal, medical, HR, and business. The discussion phase is structured roleplay; the output is a scenario document and feedback report.
You can also create a custom Workspace with your own role configuration for tasks that don't fit a built-in template.
How Workspace differs from Dialogue
Both Workspace and Dialogue involve multiple AI participants. The distinction is in purpose and mode:
| Dialogue | Workspace | |
|---|---|---|
| Participants | AI characters with fixed identities | AI models with task-specific roles |
| Purpose | Conversation and exchange of perspectives | Task completion and structured output |
| Output | The conversation itself | Documents, reports, plans, code |
| User role | Participant, moderator, or observer | Director |
