What is a template on AwakeVerse?
A template is a pre-built structure for a Dialogue or Workspace session. It defines the topic, the participants, and the opening premise or task brief — so you can launch a session immediately without configuring everything from scratch.
Templates exist for both Dialogue and Workspace. In both cases, they serve the same purpose: remove the blank-page problem and give users a working starting point.
Dialogue templates
A Dialogue template defines:
- A suggested character combination (2–4 characters)
- A debate question or opening premise
- A category — Philosophy, Ethics, Business, Science, History, Creative, and more
When you launch a Dialogue from a template, the characters and question are pre-loaded. You can customise them before starting or launch immediately.
Dialogue templates are browseable in the template gallery, filterable by category. Each template includes a preview of the character combination and the debate question so you know what you are launching before you start.
Workspace templates
A Workspace template defines:
- A team of AI models with specific roles suited to the task
- A task type — coding, research, education, business planning, content creation, or professional training
- Sub-types for more specific configurations within each category
Templates vs starting from scratch
| Template | From scratch | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup time | Seconds | 2–5 minutes |
| Character/role selection | Pre-configured | Full control |
| Topic/task | Pre-defined, editable | You define |
| Best for | Exploring, getting started quickly | Specific needs |
Starting from scratch gives you full control. Templates give you a proven starting point you can customise after selecting.
Who can use templates
Any user can browse templates. Launching a Dialogue from a template requires an Unlimited tier subscription. Workspace templates follow the same tier requirements as Workspace sessions.
Who creates templates
Templates are created two ways:
By AwakeVerse — the curated library of platform templates covering the most common use cases.
By creators — Unlimited tier subscribers can build and publish their own templates to the Market Hub. Published templates appear in the gallery alongside platform templates.
