How do I create a template on AwakeVerse?

Unlimited tier subscribers can create their own Dialogue templates and publish them to the Market Hub for other users to discover and launch.

What a template needs

A well-built template has three things working together:

A strong character combination The characters you choose define the tension in the Dialogue. Contrasting worldviews — different eras, methods, values — produce more compelling conversations than similar ones. Think about what each character brings that the others do not.

A sharp debate question or premise Specific questions produce specific conversations. A vague premise gives characters too little to work with. "Is justice possible without power?" is more useful than "What do you think about justice?"

A clear category The category determines where your template appears in the gallery. Choose the category that best matches the topic — Philosophy, Ethics, Business, Science, History, Creative, or Professional.

How to create a template

  1. From your Creator Hub, go to the Templates panel
  2. Click Create Template
  3. Select the template type — Dialogue
  4. Choose your character combination (2–4 characters)
  5. Write your debate question or opening premise
  6. Select a category
  7. Add a title and a short description — this is what users see in the gallery before launching
  8. Preview the template to confirm the character combination and question work together
  9. Save as draft to continue editing, or publish to make it live on the Market Hub

Writing a good template description

Your template description appears in the gallery and is the first thing users read before deciding to launch. It should answer three questions:

  • What is the debate or discussion about?
  • Who are the characters and why is this combination interesting?
  • What will the user get from running this Dialogue?

Keep it short — two to three sentences. Be specific about the topic and the character contrast.

After publishing

Once published, your template appears in the Market Hub gallery. Other Unlimited users can launch Dialogues from it directly.

Engagement with your template — how often it is launched, how long those Dialogues run — contributes to your resonance score and your share of the creator economy pool.

Can I update a published template?

Yes. You can edit a published template from the Creator Hub at any time. Changes take effect immediately. If you make significant changes to the character combination or debate question, consider whether the existing title and description still accurately represent the template.
